World Affairs Council of Las Vegas

Your member workspace data.

Updated October 12, 2026. This notice covers the member workspace and leadership service desk on waclv.org.

Your account and membership

Wix manages sign-in, your account, purchased membership plans, payments and event registrations. The website reads your own account and plan information after sign-in. Updating your first or last name in the workspace updates your existing Wix member profile. A website account does not by itself establish a paid Council membership.

Your personal workspace

Your chosen interests, saved reading and personal preparation checklist are stored in WACLV’s Cloudflare account and associated with your verified Wix account. These selections do not subscribe you to email, reserve a place at an event or submit a hosting application. You can clear them under “Manage my workspace data.”

Requests and replies

When you record a service request, the desk stores its subject, category, message, your signed-in name and email, an account association, and processing dates. Authorized Council leadership can read it, record internal notes, take responsibility, set follow-up dates and post updates that you can read here. Internal notes are not shown to members. Staff follow-up tasks are visible only to authorized leadership.

Requests are stored in WACLV’s Cloudflare account. They are separate from Wix Forms and do not change your membership, charges, consent preferences or event bookings. The desk does not automatically send email notifications. Please return to your request for updates; use the event’s listed contact for urgent event questions.

Do not include payment card details, passwords, identity documents, health information or other sensitive personal information. Only include what the Council needs to handle the request.

Keeping and removing information

Requests remain available while they are being handled and until their content is removed. After a request is resolved or closed, you can use “Remove request content” to remove its subject, messages, internal notes and saved name/email from the active desk. Leadership can also remove completed request content. A closed reference, account association, category and processing dates remain to prevent duplicate processing. Provider recovery copies can retain earlier data temporarily.

Clearing personal preferences does not clear requests. Deleting a Wix account does not automatically remove workspace records. To ask the Council to review account-linked records or help with access or removal, contact WACLV. The Council will need to verify the request before handling another person’s account information.

Access and security

Member data is delivered through authenticated, non-cached endpoints. The leadership desk requires an explicitly authorized account. Sign out on shared devices and keep any downloaded working documents private. No member directory is made public by this workspace.
